What you need
- Windows 10 or 11 with Stream Deck software 7.1 or newer.
- Wuthering Waves on PC (Steam, the launcher or Epic).
- Nothing else: no mod, no account, no sign-in. It is free.
1. Install the plugin
Submitted for approval. WuWa Deck is with the Elgato Marketplace, where it will be free. This page will link to the listing when it is up.
2. The WuWa profile
Drag the Open WuWa profile key onto your own profile and press it: it opens a profile made for your deck, with a hub page and five folders, Combat, Explore, Menus, Social and Convene. Exit on the hub takes you back to your own profile. There are profiles for the Stream Deck, XL, +, Neo and Mini; on the + the dials switch team members, fire the skills and turn through your banners' pity.
3. The controls
Every key sends the game's own default key, read off its Settings > Keyboard and Mouse screen, and shows that key on a small tile the way the game's HUD does. The keys look like the game's own buttons: the Terminal's cream glyphs for the menus, the round skill buttons for combat.
- Combat: Resonance Skill, Resonance Liberation, Echo Skill, Switch to Aim Mode, Team Members 1 to 4, Quit Challenge.
- Explore: Use Utility, Utility Wheel, Utilities, Pick Up/Interact, Track Quest, Map, Quests.
- Menus: Terminal, Backpack, Resonator, Team, Mail, Tutorial, Events, Guidebook, Convene, Pioneer Podcast.
- Social: Chat, Co-op Mode, WavesLine.
Movement, jumping, dodging and the mouse stay where your hands already are, so they are not on keys, and neither is the Quick Access Wheel: it lives on Caps Lock, and a key press would switch Caps Lock on and off. If you have rebound a key in the game, the deck still sends the default; each key is a plain Stream Deck hotkey you can change.
4. Convene pity
The Convene keys show, for each banner, how many pulls since your last 5-star, as a number and a bar towards hard pity (80, or 50 on the Beginner banner), and your 4-star pity underneath. They warm towards soft pity and wear the game's red diamond once you are there. Other keys show your last 5-star and the pulls it took, and your totals and the Astrites they cost.
The one thing you do: open Convene > History in the game once a session. That is when the game writes the history link to its own log; the plugin sees it within a minute and the keys update. Press Refresh later to fetch again while the link lasts (an hour or two). Your history is kept on your PC, so it goes back further than the six months the game shows.
5. Redemption codes
The Codes key keeps up with the game's redemption codes like news you mark as read. It shows how many new codes there are, with the game's red diamond while any are waiting, and the next code with its reward and when it ends.
- Press to copy the code. Then in the game open Terminal > Settings > Other Settings > Redemption Code and paste it with Ctrl+V.
- Press again (or hold) to mark it used and move to the next one; hold for two seconds to undo.
- Codes past their end date drop off by themselves. On a Stream Deck + the dial turns through them.
The codes come from the community-kept Wuthering Waves wiki, which usually lists a new code within hours of it going out; the key checks about once an hour, only while it is on your deck, and remembers what you have used.
6. What it reads, and what it sends
- It reads the game's own log file for the history link, the same way the well-known trackers do. It never touches the game itself: no mod, no injection, nothing running inside Wuthering Waves.
- It sends one request per banner to Kuro Games' own history service, the same request the in-game history page makes. For codes, it reads the Wuthering Waves wiki's redemption-code page. Nothing is sent anywhere else.
- The link works as a key to your history while it lasts, so the plugin never shows it, logs it or saves it. Your player ID is never shown or logged either.
- The history and the codes you have marked used are files on your PC, in
%APPDATA%\WuWaConvene.
Frequently asked
The Convene keys say to open the history.
Open Convene > History in the game; within a minute the keys fetch and update. The link the game writes lasts an hour or two, so after that it asks again.
Can it tell whether I won my 50/50?
Not yet: the history the game gives says what you pulled, not which character the banner featured.
Is it affiliated with Kuro Games?
No. WuWa Deck is an unofficial fan project, free, and not affiliated with or endorsed by Kuro Games. Wuthering Waves is a trademark of Kuro Games. The icons are original, drawn from Material Design Icons; no game artwork is used.
