What you need
- ARK: Survival Ascended on Windows, with its default keyboard bindings.
- Stream Deck software 7.1 or newer. There is a profile each for the Stream Deck (15 keys), the XL and the Stream Deck +.
- Optional: the free ARK Timers plugin for the Timers & Taming page. Stream Deck offers it when the profile is imported.
- For the command keys: Settings → Advanced → Console Access turned on in the game.
1. Install the profiles
In testing. The profiles and the ARK Timers plugin are being played with before they go to the Elgato Marketplace. This page will link to both when they are up.
There is one profile for each device. Double-click the file for your Stream Deck and the Stream Deck software adds it to that device and asks to install ARK Timers if you do not have it.

The hub keeps the whistles you use most, both emotes, global and tribe chat, and the everyday keys: inventory, map, tribe manager, crafting, HUD, console, prone, crouch, orbit camera and drop.
3. Console commands
Each command key is a Stream Deck Multi Action: it presses ~ to open the console, waits a quarter of a second, pastes the command and presses Enter. Nothing is stored anywhere but the key itself, and you can open any key in Stream Deck to see or change the text.

On a server you need admin rights for the cheat commands, the same as typing them by hand.
4. Timers and the taming calculator
Timers count down the waiting: imprint windows (the game's eight hours, scaled by your cuddle interval), incubation and gestation (divided by egg hatch speed), maturation (by mature speed), taming (by taming speed), or anything else you type in. A ring fills as the time runs; the key turns green and ticks when it is done, then says how long ago. Press to start, hold a second to clear. Timers are kept in the key, so a restart does not lose them.
The taming calculator takes a creature, a level and a food and gives you, on successive presses, the pieces of food, the time and taming effectiveness with the bonus levels it earns, the narcotics (or bio toxin, or narcoberries) to keep the creature down, and how many shots of your chosen weapon knock it out, with the time until it wakes. The arithmetic and the creature data are ARK Smart Breeding's (MIT), the same source the desktop calculators use, so the numbers agree with what you already trust.
Server rates live in one place, shared by every key: taming speed, dino food drain, wild torpor drain, cuddle interval, mature speed and egg hatch speed, with presets for Official, Single Player, Small Tribes and ARKpocalypse. Set them once in any key's settings.
5. Stream Deck + dials
The four dials are the same on every page: system volume, whistle follow distance, the imprint timer (turn to nudge by a minute, push to start or stop) and the taming calculator (turn for the level, five at a time when turned fast, push for the next number).
6. How the keys work
Whistle and everyday keys press the game's default keyboard binding, read off the game's own Options → Keyboard screen, so nothing on your keyboard changes. If you have rebound a key in the game, either put it back or edit that key in Stream Deck. Two to know about: All Aggressive is the game's numpad minus, and Follow Distance is numpad 0, so a keyboard without a number pad needs those two rebound in the game.
Emotes 1 and 2 are the bracket keys. Which emote each plays is chosen in the game's emote wheel, so the keys play whatever you have assigned there.
Troubleshooting

Frequently asked
Will the commands get me banned on a server?
The keys only type what you could type yourself; the server decides what you may run. On an official or
unofficial server without admin rights, cheat commands simply do nothing.
Does it work on a Mac?
The profiles send Windows key codes; ARK: Survival Ascended is a Windows game.
Is this made by Studio Wildcard?
